Where this table stops: lanes with no dated public source
Some rows carry no figure because no dated public source for that port pair could be verified, and an interpolated number would be worse than an empty cell. That applies to Jeddah, Beirut, Umm Qasr and Aqaba, and to Hamburg, Felixstowe, Istanbul, Mersin and New York — absent above, not estimated. The days a buyer plans against are that band plus production, the weathering hold this cargo must complete before packing, the dangerous-goods booking, the cut-off, any relay dwell, and arrival formalities. Production runs 15 working days for a 20 ft, 20 for a 40 ft. After that the material is weathered: we hold it at least 14 days after production before stuffing, and at least 28 days pass in total from raw-material receipt, because Special Provision 978 sets weathering as a condition of carriage — not a route around dangerous-goods status. Why three published figures for one lane disagree by more than a month

All three can be written in good faith, because three things differ: which clock is started, port-to-port or door-to-door; whether the box sails direct or relays, since Indonesian volume commonly transships via Singapore, Port Klang or Colombo — Cubic puts Surabaya at 16–20 days to Jebel Ali via Singapore against Jakarta's 14–18 direct, both November 2024; and whether the figure predates the rerouting. Maersk now publishes its Asia–Europe network as a Cape of Good Hope network, not a diversion, and FreightAmigo put the Cape at 10–14 days added per leg on 30 May 2026.

Plan a reorder against the whole elapsed clock, not the sailing band, and size the container first — container payload by charcoal shape sets how much one box carries.
