Hexagonal 22 × 50 mm
Hexagonal, across flats × length, ±0.3 mm per side. Of the hexagonal sizes we press it has the widest section, at the longer length. Pieces per kilogram: on request — our roster does not publish one for this size, so this page prints no count and no weight per piece derived from one.

The card
Every row names the block it comes from. Where a block records nothing for this size, the cell says so — we do not carry a figure across from the size above it.

What another factory publishes. A competing Indonesian factory publishes counts for its own extrusion range (machine-stamped 11 October 2023) — 20 × 50 mm and 20 × 35 mm, so nothing it publishes speaks to 22 × 50 mm. Ours comes from the export desk against the run you are buying.

FOB Tanjung Priok · Prices valid September 2026 · reviewed monthly. These prices are indicative and dated, not an offer. A binding figure comes on a proforma invoice against your shape, size, packaging and destination.
Ash is the band that names each grade, and the batch certificate is what proves it. Size does not change the per-tonne price — see wholesale pricing.
What the laboratory measured
Ash, fixed carbon, volatile matter and moisture are reported per batch on a certificate of analysis — what one proves, and how to verify the laboratory.
What is not measured per size. Burning time, ash colour and breakage rate are recorded per batch, not per size, so this page publishes none of them against 22 × 50 mm. Burning time in particular has no stated test conditions here — the method page sets out what any minutes figure has to name before it means anything, ours included.
What fits in a container
| Equipment | Payload | Master cartons |
|---|---|---|
| 20 ft | 18.5 t | 1,850 — derived |
| 40 ft | 26.5 t | 2,650 — derived |
That 20 ft figure is a group, not a per-size measurement. Our roster puts the hexagonal, the stix, the octagonal and the flat/brix in one payload row — below the cube's, which is the trade-off the shape makes.
A 20 ft cubes out before it weighs out and a 40 ft weighs out before it cubes out, which is why the 40 ft figure is the same for every shape. Stowage: cartons go inside a thermal blanket, vacuum-sealed, 15–30 cm of headspace and 30 cm at the door. The cargo ships as UN 1361, Class 4.2, Packing Group III — how it is declared and booked, and what a container costs to move.
Pallet plan: on request. The pallet configuration for this size is not recorded on our data sheet yet, so there is no diagram here to show you.

Questions buyers ask about the extrusions
- Why is there no pieces-per-kilogram figure for this size?
- Because our roster does not record one. The count is taken at the packing line and, for the extrusion sizes, answered per enquiry rather than published. Ask the export desk against the size and packaging you are quoting; what you will not get here is a number carried across from a neighbouring size.
- Can I order one size only, or do I have to mix?
- Either. 1 × FCL (20 ft or 40 ft), and inside it the minimum is 2 tonnes per shape, size and packaging variant. So a single-size container is fine, and so is a container split across sizes and packaging as long as each variant reaches two tonnes.
- Why is there no burn time on this page?
- Because the test conditions behind a minutes figure are not written down here, and a number without them is not a specification. Burning time is recorded per batch in the factory QC file; what is missing is the ambient, the burner type and the single-piece-versus-bowl basis that would make one comparable to anyone else's.
- What does the price depend on?
- Grade and packaging. The five bands below are ash ceilings, and each has a boxed price and a bulk price; the basis is FOB Tanjung Priok. Shape and size do not move the per-tonne price — they move how much fits in the container, which is the section above.
- Can I have my own brand on the box?
- Yes. Minimum 2 t per SKU (≈2,000 inner boxes or 200 masters at 1 kg) applies, plate and setup are inside the quoted price, and artwork goes through the dielines we supply. House-branded boxes are the faster route where they exist in your size.
- Is the hexagonal a different coal from the octagonal, or from the stix?
- No — one extrusion, one size list, one die, and every packing figure on this page shared across the three. What differs is the end face: the stix is left round, the hexagonal is cut to six flats and the octagonal to eight, and more flats means less inclination to roll.
